What is
PWO?

It is a system of Professional Feet Relief, used by Specialists in podiatry, wound treatment and rehabilitation.

PWO is an original project of the PODOLOGIA.pl team, which was created based on many years of our experience in cooperation with medical staff in the area of designing and manufacturing individual orthopedic insoles.
Our goal was one: to develop a solution that would allow the Specialist to design and make individual foot relief in the insole. This solution relieves during standing and walking, and at the same time does not require the user’s involvement. Stably embedded in the footwear, ensures permanent use in a specific place. And the execution was supposed to be simple and quick.

THIS IS HOW THE PWO SYSTEM WAS CREATED:

  • PWO 15 – Professional Relieving Insoles made by a Specialist in 15 minutes: individually designed and made elements from medical relieving materials are glued to the base of the insole (any shape, thickness, place of use, etc.), then a specialized cover is applied to the whole.
  • PIO 10 – Professional Individual Reliefs are specialized elements for gluing to the PWO15 insole or directly to footwear; elements are adjusted by a Specialist before applied in the insole.

PWO is a medical product in which specialized relief materials (i.e. without shape memory) are used, used in the prevention of overload changes, i.e. hyperkeratosis, wounds, neuralgia, increased tissues tension, etc. PWO15 is made by Specialists, after a prior examination. I. Diagnosis of health needs – designing and cut of individual reliefs based on the examination.
II. Matching the base to the form of footwear – cutting the insole base by projecting the insole made of footwear.
III. Gluing prepared reliefs to the base and gluing the top cover.
After execution: inserting the insole into the shoes and checking the fit to the shoes and the effect of relieving the foot.

Dear Patient. PWO15 is a medical product that is made only by specialists, i.e. by medical staff or podiatrists. After a detailed interview, physical examination, assessment of overload changes and assessment of body posture, the Specialist makes an individual PWO15 insole. After using it, you will be informed about the rules of its use, possible risks and further therapeutic actions. In special cases, the Specialist will inform you about contraindications for using the IUD, the need to perform additional tests, etc.

If you suffer from pain or/discomfort in your feet, you have overload changes (e.g. corns, calluses, heel cracks, etc.), you perform work that puts a lot of strain on your feet, etc. Meanwhile, the product is available for patients from Poland, Ukraine, Sweden, England, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia.
